About Us

Our Mission Statement

The purpose of Salem Christian School is to give our students a comprehensive Christian education.  Salem Christian School is an organization which is religiously exempt from licensure.  Our desire is to work with the parent to provide care, education, and moral and spiritual support for each child enrolled in order to fulfill God’s command to raise our children according to His Word (Prov. 22:6).

SCS believes it is necessary to educate the whole child: body, soul, and spirit.  The school will seek to provide opportunities for the children enrolled in the program to grow spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially by providing developmentally-appropriate activities, guidance, ministry, and outreach to them and to their families.

The program is designed to be Christian in its approach.  Christian values and principles are shared from God’s Word through daily activities.

Our Core Values

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE- SCS is dedicated to providing a high quality education by using curricula that are excellent as academic and biblical teaching tools, maintaining high standards of development, and hiring highly qualified teachers to give students the best opportunity to succeed.  (Col. 3:27)

MORAL INTEGRITY- SCS believes that a well-balanced biblical moral code of conduct is conducive to achieve an excellent education.  SCS believes each student and staff member is an essential asset from representing moral integrity. (Prov. 20:7)

SPIRITUAL GROWTH- SCS believes in nurturing every part of the child: body, soul, and spirit.  Education from a biblical perspective, with a loving staff, provides the environment for each child to grow to their maximum potential.  (1 Pet. 2:2)

GLOBAL IMPACT-SCS desires to be a ministry to students, parents, the community, and the world.  SCS is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission given by Jesus to “Make Disciples.” (Acts 1:8)

AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY- SCS pursues intentional relationships.  We believe the best possible education comes from developing deep relationships with parents, teachers, students, and staff to create a family-rich environment.  (Jn 13:35)
